Estate Planning

The death of a person can bring real financial hardships for the family when there is not a proper estate plan ready.

A will, although essential, doesn't solve all the problems.  Without proper estate planning, the income tax on the estate may be such that the surviving spouse or heirs have nothing left to inherit. Sometimes, it is necessary to sell assets just to pay the taxes.  This can be avoided with proper estate planning.

This is not only for business people.  Estate planning applies to anybody who has assets other than their home.  Those assets could be a summer house, a valuable collection, rental buildings, etc.
